C’est intéressant de lire Mazarine Pingeot à propos de la rumeur.
Parce que pas grand monde n’a dû plus souffrir de la rumeur qu’elle.
D’une rumeur avec un grand ‘R’. Et qui, d’ailleurs, n’en était pas une.
Mais alors…

Ou bien je suis fatigué, ou bien il me semble que ça pourrait être plus simplement formulé. Je suis nostalgique du temps où avoir une grande plume c’était être capable de se faire comprendre par tous.

Fort bien, Mazarine. BiBi est prêt à vous suivre sauf que.
Sauf que, à chercher la photo de Latche où l’on voit Monsieur Mitterrand autour d’une table avec un Vichyssois bien connu en 40-44, René Bousquet, Jack Lang aussi ( si BiBi se souvient bien), on constate qu’elle est devenue introuvable. Sur le Net et ailleurs…
N’est ce pas là ” brouiller les frontières entre lui et le Monde “( surtout celui de 40-42 où Monsieur Mitterrand résidait à Vichy) …?

Elle est douée la demoiselle, c’est une jolie claquounette qu’elle administre au président.
N’empêche, on a vraiment l’impression d’entendre son père. Les miracles de la génétique. Mais ça fait quand même bizarre quand un ancien “secret d’état” fait une leçon sur la Rumeur.

Franchement, Guy, quand Mazarine Pingeot parle de la rumeur…. oui ça nous laisse indifférent. Surtout quand c’est aussi chiant à lire.

C’est vrai que c’est plutôt cocasse. Surtout ce style… Ca me fait penser au film de Tonie Marshall ” Tontaine et Tonton” qui était passé sur Arte il y a pas mal de temps.
Deux copains se retrouvent chez une fille raide dingue de Mitterrand, qui leur cite des passages entier de l’Architecte et l’Abeille, et autres “oeuvres” impérissable de François Mitterrand.

Madame, à vous lire et à être pris dans votre lyrisme, on en viendrait à croire que vous entrez en politique par la toute petite porte des arts. Je me rassure en me convainquant que vos lectrices et lecteurs déduisent vos vues du nom que vous ne portez pas.
Votre père fit l’objet d’allégations diverses, dont je n’ai que faire de vérifier ce soir le bien-fondé, mais qui disent en substance qu’il utilisa certains appareils d’Etat à seule fin de vous cacher de cette France dont vous semblez vous soucier. Autrement dit, pour que l’information ne filtre pas. Il y est parvenu, puisque le pays a fait son étonné à votre “naissance”.
Mais si information il pouvait y avoir, parce qu’il fallait l’empêcher de paraître, n’y avait-il pas, à la base, une de ces fameuses “rumeurs” vérifiables ? Car s’il fallait empêcher de dire, c’est qu’il y avait du vrai dans ce qui allait être dit, n’est-ce pas ? Et si cela allait être dit, c’est que certains couloirs bruissaient suffisamment pour que quelque redresseur de tort puisse faire craindre que tort serait redressé, non ?
Je vous rappelle la définition du mot rumeur : “Bruit confus d’un certain nombre de voix”, ou encore “Bruit sourd et général, excité par quelque mécontentement, annonçant quelque disposition à la révolte, à la sédition.” toutes deux tirées du dictionnaire Littré. Il ne s’agit pas ici d’information fausse, mais de bruit.
Votre existence ayant donc suscité des bruits confus d’un certain nombre de voix que votre père s’est chargé de juguler grâce aux impôts que ses électeurs payaient déjà de fort mauvaise grâce. Vous étiez une rumeur vous-même, en conclusion.
Vous dites : “S’il est un proverbe proprement abject, c’est bien : « il n’y a pas de fumée sans feu »”. Dans votre cas, nieriez-vous que vous fûtes feu, ou vous trouveriez-vous “proprement abjecte” ? Car cette fumée que vous condamnez, vous êtes la mieux informée ici pour savoir qu’elle provient d’un feu bien réel, et pour le coup issu d’un mélange “sulfureux”. Il ne tient qu’à vous de démontrer que cela n’est pas souhaitable.
Qu’en eut-il été cependant à l’heure d’Internet ? Eussiez-vous été moins vraie par la multiplicité des bruits et la facilitation de la diffusion d’une information que vous présumez fausse ?
Votre conseil est judicieux : “Aussi pour l’endiguer, je ne vois qu’une solution : attendre qu’elle passe et s’éteigne par elle-même.”
S’applique-t-il à toutes les rumeurs ? Ou seulement à celles qu’il est utile de nier ? Était-il utile de vous nier ?
J’ai un autre proverbe proprement abject pour vous : “Les cordonniers sont toujours les plus mal chaussés”.
Et il m’en vient encore un, que vos propos, autant que les actes de Sarkozy et de votre père, accréditent fortement mais qui, en l’occurrence, me semble à moi vraiment proprement abject : “La fin justifie les moyens”.
